I am a postdoctoral researcher working on user-centric video processing with Christian Theobalt. At the Intel Visual Computing Institute. And also in the Graphics, Vision and Video. Group at Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik. I was previously a postdoc in the REVES. France, working with George Drettakis. And I interned with Alexander Sorkine-Hornung. I graduated with a PhD and BA from the University of Cambridge. Was supervised by Neil Dodgson.
We research novel models and algorithms to simulate. Mechanical phenomena in a wide variety of applications involving dynamic systems. These include medical training and planning, computer animation and videogames, computational design and virtual prototyping, computer haptics or virtual touch, and even molecular dynamics for drug design.

Many graphics and vision problems are naturally expressed as optimizations with either linear or non-linear least squares objective functions over visual data, such as images and meshes. The mathematical descriptions of these functions are extremely concise, but their implementation in real code is tedious, especially when optimized for real-time performance in interactive applications.
I am a PhD Student at Center for Visual Information Technology. My research interests are Computer Vision, Image-video Processing and Machine Learning. I am also enthusiastic about Computational Photography and Interactive Techniques.
